Hello Jannik & others on TBUDL following this thread,
Wednesday, January 03, 2001, you stated regarding the keys that
ARE DIFFERENT on your Danish Keyboard.:
JL> I believe that I have now tried all reasonable possibilities.
JL> The only thing that works for me is "Ctrl+*" on the numerical
JL> pad, but since this is quite tedious (I am using a laptop and
JL> have to activate alternative key-functions) and it does not give
JL> me the opportunity to *close* all threads - which is actually
JL> what I wanted - I will stick to turning thread view on an off
JL> (which seems to be the only possible way to close all threads).
I wish I could help you more, but I have a Latin American Keyboard
and I rarely use threading (using the subject column, instead).
DH>> Thinking about it, since all menus can be activated using the
DH>> keyboard, why not develop a "hot-key combo" for any command you
DH>> choose to implement (instead of memorizing the keyboard sequence
DH>> for going through the menus, or using the mouse)?
JL> Is the shortcut-list on Marck's site not such a combo?
A "hot-key combo" is user configured. The shortcut-list on Marck's
site is TB!'s configuration. I haven't created (or used) any user
originated "hot-key combos" yet (maybe later) but I'm sure others
here have.
