I have noticed that The Bat! makes a copy of outgoing attachments in the
"attach" folder of the account from which the e-mail is sent. It even
changes the name of the attachment from, e.g., Mydoc.doc to
Mydoc1.doc.

I find that duplication totally unnecesary. Apart from the fact that it
is not economical in terms of disk space (particularly when one has to
send big attachments almost on a daily basis, as is my case), why mix
outgoing and incoming attachments in the same folder?

Eudora and many other clients simply pick up outgoing attachments from
where they are and leave them there without duplicating the file. Is
there a way to make The Bat! behave in a similar way or should that go
onto the wish list?

Kind regards,
Rmi
