Yes, it is a poltical decision. As other mailers do allow editing of
inmcoming messages, and actually, you *can* do it with
export/re-import, I don't think this political decision should
persist. I do know that changing policies would mean additional
coding for the developers, though, and this this is the major reason
for not allowing editing of incoming messages. ;-)
