I just played with it a bit.
You are right, two windows are being opened.
The first one is entitled "Delivering Mail". The first action this
does is "Connecting to POP Server". After this has been successful,
the amil is then sent via the SMTP server. This is as it has always
been. One window.
But here is the second window popping up, entitled: "Receiving Mail".
Oops, did I check Combined Delivery? No, unchecked. Closed TB and
reopen. Option still unchecked, but when I hit "send messages", TB
will at the same time "check messages".
Does this also happen when you don't check "POP before SMTP"? No, it
doesn't.
We have a found a buglet: When "POP before SMTP" is tickmarked, TB
will always do "Combined Delivery", regardless of whether "Combined
Delivery" is tickmarked or not.
Can anyone confirm?
