Did you notice that TB will log into the POP server with the
Delivering window when the option is checked? This satisfied the
authorization request.

That's why I also always use combined delivery. However, if TB forces
combined, why do we have the option to untick it?

Uncheck it and you will see that TB still behaves as if it was still
checked.
