I won't show a Key Command equivalent because I think the "Delete" key is
pretty straight forward. ;o)  When you highlight text, you should be able
to simply hit the "Delete" key, or spacebar, and have the text deleted.
What happens you place the cursor *behind* a character and hit the delete
key? Is that character in fact deleted?
