Yes  selecting  text  and  pressing any key should delete the selected
text  but  it doesn't anymore.

All  the  del-key  does  is  that it deletes characters one by one but
except  for  the  "right-click-technique" there is no way I can delete
selected  text anymore.

It works fine in every other application and I haven't installed
anything lately or noticed anything unusual.

What I'll try to do now is re-install TB!

I'll keep you posted.
