I think different countries implement it differently. Isn't DSL
incorporated by an Ethernet card? I remember that on my mother's comp
the dial-up is still handled by her ISDN line. DSL is then set up
internally as an LAN (without her knowing it).
When we were trying to update her laptop on Easter, my brother first
took the settings of DSL, which of course are totally wrong for her
laptop's 56K modem. This way I discovered that on her desktop the
connection is still made by the normal DUN.
BTW, with my last private message to Jenniffer I referred her to the
list for network answers. And I see that Marck and Ottar already gave
the answer.
