Hi Michael,

On 29 April 2001 at 08:23:48 -0700 (which was 16:23 where I live)
Michael S. Greenbaum wrote to TBUDL and made these points:

It is. TB does nothing automatically with attachments. If you double
click on an unfamiliar attachment at random then you may well be in
trouble, but *only* then.

If you didn't double click on the attachment then you did not get
affected.

MSG> If I do, will a virus checker like McAfee pick it up?

MSG> If not, what do I do to get rid of it?

You should probably try the AVG virus scanner from www.grisoft.cz. I
find it very reliable. The authors are themselves TB users.
