1. Both have build several drivers, but don't get a certificate by Ms.
2. Since MS has this new policy to do everything themselves (except
for actual *work* ...) they have to give out everything the companies
need. Seems they don't.
3. Would you blame Matrox/Guillemot/etc. for not developing for BeOS,
Linux, AIX, DOS, Mac, Solaris ...?
The problem I really have is that all my components are pretty
standard (Matrox Millenium DH, which cannot be fully used with Win95,
Guillemot Maxi Studio ISIS, Intel PII233, Adaptec SCSI 2940UW, ZIP
drive, Microtek scanner, Iiyama monitor ...) and when Win2K came out I
couldn't migrate because the system would not have shown anything on
my monitor.
Till today the current drivers are still in beta - and one thing I
won't touch on a working system - a system I need to make money - is a
beta driver for vital system components.
