Interesting. Once the subjects are the same then they are threaded
together. TB! will automatically strip any RE: or Re: strings and compare
the subjects. If they differ in *any* way, then the threading will fail.
Even an extra space between words will alter the subject enough to break
the thread.
I suggest that you carefully examine the subjects for the messages that
failed to thread. Look at them with a fixed width font. If they fail to be
threaded together then the subjects are different in some way.
