This is why I suggested the other day that on startup e-mail clients
should check one of those official clocks and reset the system clock.

I find that I have more messages out of order this way, because of
messages which get sidetracked somewhere in someone's outbox or some
isp's server, etc. I just got a message, for example, from my
secretary about an important phone call that came to my office early
this morning, which was 13 hours before the message showed up.
