Correct. But, can anybody tell me why it seems so important to support
7.x? Is it just because one always wants to have the latest release of
a software, or is there something *really* interesting in 7.x, that
you can't find in for instance 6.58ckt?

A lot of people still work with pure DOS PGP (2.6.3), and for good
reason. And it works.

Just a thought, nothing more ...

I think with proprietary he means the rather basic approach of TB!'s
built-in support, not the plug-ins for "official" releases.
