Well for one thing it's not only the latest release of the world's most
popular encryption Program, it also adheres to the OpenPGP standard and
therefore should be supported. It's no different than when GnuPG was
released v1.0.6... People started using it because they are looking for
either the latest bug fixes and/or features, much the same as you
running the latest beta release of TB!. ;o)

Aside from CKT actually being illegal versions of PGP, with 7.1 NAI have
now introduced the concept of individual modules, where you can install
any one or all of the following:

PGPMail
PGPFire
PGPVPN
PGPDisk

There is a big difference between versions 6.5.8 and 7.1, and I trust
RITLabs will develop a Plugin once the SDK is released, regardless
whether NAI have released the source code or not.
