On the contrary:

The Nazi propaganda machine twisted the German church into their
tool. They had some difficulties to explain the fact that Jesus was of
Jewish ancestry, however. The Vatican turned a blind eye to many of
the Nazi atrocities of WWII. Catolicism was one of the pillars of the
facist states of Spain and Italy.

I'm just disgusted by all the islamic-phobia (especially in the US)
which closely resembles anti-semitism.
Whenever some crazy religous fantatics commit some terrible deed it is
in some strange way seen as an aspect of Islam.
Look at the history of the twentieth century and all the bloody wars
fought in the name of the Christian God! In both world wars priests
blessed soldiers on both sides of the front lines.

Of course, evil people have always sought to seek divine justification
for their deeds.
