After being being terrorized for many years by an occupying army armed
and funded by the US it is not difficult to understand some fanatics
reacted in this disgusting way. I dount it was the reaction of most
Palestinans though. Why should any sensibel person feel happy about
thousands of innocent people being killed?
What if the US carpet bombs Afghanistan in response? No doubt would
many Americans dance in the street! But if the US takes any serious military action,
no doubt there will be "collateral damage" ie innocent, civilian
deaths.
