Hello Blueness, An archeological dig discovered that on Saturday, September 29, 2001 at 22:59 GMT +0200, Blueness [B] typed the following:
A>> thanks :) if i copy these across i won't delete mail that's already on A>> my base PC? B> Nooo... :) It has nothing with any single mail. Mail will be (virgo) B> intacta (or at least intacta as before ;) ). It means that tbb and tbi B> files, containing mail, are staying safe. Wait a second, the mail on your *base* computer will be deleted if you just copy over the mail folder structure. You're *replacing* the old message bases with the ones from your mobile computer. Use the synchronize feature and you *merge* the two. That's more like what Andrew wanted. A>> With the folder structures as I recall the folder are physical A>> folders on the HD file system won't I need to create these folders A>> in their correct places before copy these files and downloading any A>> mail (as I've left all new stuff on the server)? Well, you can just copy the folder structure from one computer to another using your favorite file manager. Assuming your account directories are in their default locations, in TB, use the CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-L shortcut to find the "lost" folders. -- Thanks for writing, Januk Aggarwal Using The Bat! 1.54 Beta/8 under Windows 98 4.10 Build 2222 A Have you ever imagined a world without hypothetical situations? -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
