I had been careful to leave all new mail I've received on my laptop on
the server so I can download it fresh onto my base pc. But if Sync
will ensure that file structures, filters, etc etc as well as the
mail is synced with base that could be ok/better as well.

I've got about 4/5 accounts on the base pc and now about 7/8 on the
laptop - filters have evolved as has file structure. So I want to keep
the set-up as on laptop and not loose the old mail at base. If sync
does that great.
