Agreed. AM>> In Becky, [...] edit mode is immediately evident because the AM>> viewer changes and all the editor elements appear. JA> That could be even more confusing. Does the edit message editor JA> look very similar to the new/reply message editor? Yes. The thing is that you edit outgoing messages in a separate window while you edit incoming messages within the preview window itself. There's no feeling of confusion when using it. It's pretty clear action and deliberation that'll make you use the incoming message editing feature. I rather liked it. I don't know if it has the safety features you mentioned in your first paragraph. Current Becky users, please correct me on anything I'm incorrectly claiming. I haven't used it in a few months. JA> Another solution could be to incorporate it into the View Source JA> feature. Instead of using an internal viewer only, perhaps it could JA> be made an option to use an external editor. Of course there are some JA> complications in that scenario, but you get the picture. I think this is a very good idea. The complications should, if ironed out, should make using an external editor for everything possible. :-) - -- ©Allie C Martin -- List Moderator and fellow end-user PGPKey - mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=PGPPubKey1 [MUA: TB! v1.54/10 (*) OS: Win2K SP 2] __ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: Sealed for Security iEUEARECAAYFAjviF20ACgkQV8nrYCsHF+LixwCgzycexsLbaJO7sGS9Zslehp7s nSMAljou1IQTQ//8QuZm7qJj1IPl1qU= =gg3H -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
