JS> What about "Delete messages from server when removed from Trash" JS> option in Account Properties->Mail management?
No, that doesn't work for me. I use one computer (desktop) as the "master" mail client where I archive everything permanently. But I often read mail from the same accounts on my laptop where I don't store the messages - they almost all end up in the trash there. But I don't want to automatically delete all of them from the server from the laptop, because I still want to download and store some of them onto my desktop machine later on. So I'd some way to conveniently delete some, but not all, messages from the server; and it'd be nice to be able to do this selection at the same time I'm reading mail, e.g., hit "del" for trash, "alt-del" for trash + delete from server. That would make this process quick and painless. - Paul +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Paul A. | NCBI / NIH Thiessen | [EMAIL PROTECTED] +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
