It depends on the way you work. The point I was trying to make is that if you have text marked an press reply, it looks like you want to reply using only the marked text and I feel the software should be smart enough to to recognise that. Now you have to do the thinking and press a separate button, in your case the middle mouse button or shift-F4. I have been reading about people's frustration with software this weekend and agree that to little thought goes into make software do what it is made to do intuitively. You can't keep adding features and assigning keyboard short-cuts or even menu items to them and expect people to use them. On the other hand we all remember the paper clip from word and the statue that was erected for the person who discovered who to disable it. The most notable points made were: - The software should concentrate on its main function and "hide" all extra's. Compare this to a VCR. Main function is record and play not edit. - Extra functions should be off by default.
