No, you didn't misread it - you *do* need the double percent sign in
the template. I am no expert on this but as far as I can tell, you
have things set up exactly the same way I do *except* that I didn't
bother to filter on subject - just on recipient - but I don't see how
that would make any difference.

So, to clarify, what exactly is happening when you receive a key
request? Is the auto response even creating the return mail? Or is it
just not sending it? I assume that you manually replied to my key
requests earlier?
