You may be right; I use another scheme (see below) avoiding spaces.
I am at the moment not quite clear about the defined escape character
in templates; if it is "%" you are right.

Have you read the FAQ on the same subject?

Oh, and I think it was Leif who originally posted an article on why he
avoids the "%". Since URL's usually are underlined an underscore is a
much better solution for including "spaces".
