You can disable the sound for certain folders, that Is there a better way? Well my way is to not bother with the MT, nor take much notice of the animated icon. I create quick, clear voice overs in Sound Recorder and have them set-up on each and every folder, so I hear things come in. If I hear a folder sound/voice I'm interested in then I check. If I hear 'The Bat', etc then I don't rush to look, etc. It's about the best solution I've come across, as all others do give you information overload that's difficult to deal with. If you aren't there when email comes in then this idea won't work. Just a thought.
