In short, TB§ freezes up, right? I have had that same problem and one of the list moderators ( Allie the great ;-) ) pointed me to the problem: ZoneAlarm. Are you by any chance using ZoneAlarm? If so, you will have to uninstall it. I'm using Sygate Personal Firewall and since then i haven't got any problems anymore.
