Hello Colin,
   it is not enough just to generate the certificate. You need to
   generate the Request from the same dialog window *and* submit it to
   Certification Authority for verification and later signing. The CA
   will respond to your request with file confirming your data. You'll
   install that file and after that you'll be able to use it without
   problem.
