Is there a more latest > version?! well, if you're daring enough to use nightly builds, yes, there are. i'm using the nightlies, and i do not have the problem. do you double-click the links? because sometimes then two windows are opened indeed. for the nightly builds: http://www.mozilla.org/ , at the bottom right. however, you can also decide to wait a few days, when Mozilla 1.0 RC1 is released (not really 1.0 yet, just a Release Candidate. 1.0 is released when the Release Candidates are deemed stable enough). it is scheduled for April 15, though history teaches us that there'll be some small delays.
