RIPE is the European IP authority, similar to ARIN in the US and APNIC in the Asia-Pacific region. I need it to reference which Local Internet Registry I represent whenever I communicate, both when talking to automated services and to regular people. And to get back on topic - I just tested it and their software requires the exact header to be present so the comment thing won't work.
