Many thanks for the info, I quickly worked out how to add the %IF statement. However I have noticed that on the AB entry I tried it on I got the first name of a different AB entry! It appears that the macro works for unique e-mail addresses but if you have separate entries for people with the same address (as recommended by TB), then it seems to take the first name of the person who has the same address but comes earlier in its internal database! Is this a bug? or am I missing something again (not unheard of!).
