I hope you can help me help my mom. She decided to snoop around her TB! (v1.53d) and discover various functions. She discovered the "Folder/Purge & Compress" option. She just called me, and told me that after she did that (with the focus on her "Inbox"), *everything* disappeared from the Inbox! ack. I had her right-click on the Inbox, and go to "Properties". There was *nothing* checked in there - specifically, the "Keep messages in database for..." option was not enabled (no check mark). She says that the missing mail did not go to her Trash folder. It's just gone. Any ideas as to how she can recover her lost Inbox mail? And also - any ideas about what setting might have caused the "Purge & Compress" to get rid of *all* her mail? I told her to go away from her computer (usually the safest thing for her computer) until I can get back to her with an answer - so I hope someone can help.
