Hello Mark, Saturday, May 4, 2002, 9:26:22 AM, you digitally penned the following;
MK> I am noticing in the HTML messages that I receive not all HTML parts of MK> the message is rendering, such as graphics and other parts of the HTML MK> message. The same message appears to render fine in Microsoft Outlook MK> Express 6.0 and Netscape Communicator 4.79 Messenger. MK> Is this a known TheBat! HTML rendering issue? The Bat! does not download images, I mean that If the images are not sent as actual attachments that is part of the message then TB! will not display them. The advantage of this is that SPAMMERS cannot track the emails they sent out with their server logs of who downloaded their images. Some even use "invisisible" images as a sort of cookie to track who has read the email. IF you really want to view the email in its full HTML glory I believe you can open it in a browser and it will go ahead and download the rest of the images. I believe that is the jest of it but if I am wrong - the rest of you feel free to correct or add to my explanation. -- Regards, Lynna mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat!1.60j Windows XP PGP ( Public ) Key available at www.apostolic-friends.net/pgpkey.htm
