  Yes, it is a known TB! issue. Its by design. TB! doesn't
  currently allow complete rendering for your safety:
  graphics, etc can transport virii. In fact, most of us are
  happy that TB! is currently a 'text only' email client.
  However, I believe RIT Labs is working towards allowing
  full html rendition somewhere down the road -- may even be
  soon; I don't know. So if its graphics in your email that
  you want, you've come to the wrong place. If its safety
  you want [amongst many other things], you can't get much
  better than TB!
