Which  is  why  I  think  it's  one of Microsoft's worst products.. In
general,  it's  adequate  for most home users, because most home users
don't  know  there are many options.

I  got  3  virus  alert warnings this week about viruses that target a
small  bug  that was supposed to have been fixed by MS in OE4. If they
cannot  fix that, then the chances are, there are probably some bigger
ones  lurking  around. I used to use MailWarrior [www.kaufmansoft.com]
for  a  fair bit of time, until it decided to dump all my mail because
of a read error. That to me is a fairly nice, suitable free version...
and  sits  somewhere  between  TB! and OE. It was actually the support
forum on the MW website that made me try out TB! ;)
