Sorry I still don't understand ! If I type 1 (tab) 2 (tab) 3(return) 4 (tab)5 (tab) 6 return and so on the table is aligned correctly when smart tabs is not checked If Smart tabs is checked the 3 is too close to the 2 and the alignment goes to pot when I hit double figures. Could one of you please explain in very simple terms (bearing in mind that until I recently saw the light I spent most of my life typing in Microsoft Scareware) exactly what is happening with Smart Tabs.
