Greetings,

I have seen some of the discussion about AV applications,
which prompts mine. I have Norton corporate edition, and have it set
to scan on saving, writing, etc., etc. It will also scan .zip files
to the third level.

When I used Eudora, it would scan all attachments as well as the
messages themselves, and quarantine infected files. With Eudora,
incoming messages were written to a spool file, which is where any
viruses were caught - before they got to the inbox.

How and where does TB! write incoming messages? I have attachments
going to a separate directory, but where would Norton catch viruses
first?

Thanks, Rick
