Hello TBUDL, I have a HTML Table of addresses for which I want to insert the recipient's name as well as address in The Bat! and other mail apps.
Using: <a href="mailto:Paddy L <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>"> Paddy L</A> inserts: "Paddy L <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" in recipient field of Opera 6.04, Mozilla 1.0, and Foxmail 4.0 e-mail, but in TB!, only "Paddy" when Opera is set to use TB!. If I use just <a href="mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> TB! inserts the address as it should. This table is being distributed to users with varied e-mail applications, and I am trying to find a markup which will work with as many as possible. I've tried various permutations with no luck. Any suggestions or is this a futile exercise? TIA -- Regards, (Paddy L) [Using: The Bat! 1.60q, Opera 6.04.1120, Windows ME, 4.90.3000] ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60q FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://bt.ritlabs.com
