Hi Laura,

awc> I periodically receive email from "me" that is not sent from me.
awc> If I look at the view headers, it says it came from me! How can
awc> this be?

If these messages have attachments and they're about 40 KB or 140 KB
in size, it's probably a virus on the computer of an Outlook user who
has you in his address book. You should not report viruses to Spamcop.

I've had a few spam messages that included my own e-mail address
(though not as the sender) and Spamcop ignored those. You can usually
see from the Spamcop report if it plans to send a report to your own
ISP. I'd try to prevent that from happening :-)

I'm also getting messages from unknown companies telling me that my message
(which I never sent) could not be delivered or was rejected. That too
is a result of viruses spreading themselves, pretending they come from
you. Yesterday I had an angry customer on the phone who thought he
received a virus from my office!

Best,

-Daan-
