You should not believe. You should know. I was not telling your setup is
100% perfect and everything works like a charm even if it looks different.
I was just telling you The Bat! AV-Plugins have nothing to do with NAV-2002
and it's transparent proxy function. If NAV-2002 does not scan properly
when The Bat! connects _AND_ the settings for server and port are
identically in The Bat! to the one on OE/NC there's something messy with
NAV-2002. I don't use it myself, I just do know how it's expected to work
from reading technical manuals and the TB-lists.
so have a look into NAV-log file and ask NAV technical support (maybe
online forums or user lists???) why NAV could deny to scan your incoming
mails; it shouldn't if it's set up to scan port 110 traffic and The Bat!
connects to port 110.
