Not a big deal, since things were working fine. I'm somewhat concerned about direction of Symantec, Zone Labs, & the software market in general. From my perspective they are reducing options for users to manage their own PC. Symantec does NOT have most of the product updates available for FTP (or HTTP) download. Zone Lab's web site for 3.x release does not have good support for FAQ's as it did with 2.x releases. I've used ZAP since 1.x release and Symantec's products for years. Not a big deal. I use NAV & run with current ZAP until current support contract expires. Things work fine as is. TO ME GIVING PROGRAMS AUTOMATIC UPDATE CAPABILITIES IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SECURITY HOLES IN THE MARKET PLACE. WHAT IS TO STOP SOME SAVVY PROGRAMMER FROM USING THIS TO GAIN TOTAL CONTROL OF YOUR PC. -- Best regards, Greg Strong TB! v1.60q/Post5 on Windows 98 ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60q FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/
