They are mainly help type lists, or information kind lists. Two off the top of my head are [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] Anybody with any IRC experience will realise Undernet is one of the biggest IRC networks in the world. The help list is for people to post issues, and ask questions. There isn't really that much in terms of discussions going on, on the list, but there are a lot of outside postings. This list does *not* set a reply-to field, so when you hit reply, you're setting the original author, not the list address, and one of the rules on the list is that the list be CC'd so the people on the list know what emails have been answered, and which ones haven't. As for the coder-com list, that is a list for the programmers for the IRC server code. It is used mainly for the discussion of topics about the code, but often there are postings from outside asking questions about it, and the list is CC'd in this case too as with the help list, coder-com does not set a reply-to field. > Anyway, with the list in the TO field and the PM address in the CC > field (not the other way around), the list template should be used. As I said, not if the list doesn't set a reply-to field. At this point, hitting reply will put the original author in the TO field. -- Jonathan Angliss ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.61 FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/
