About the problem you mentioned: JR>>> Suddenly I can't delete msgs from any folder. If I click JR>>> on the waste basket icon or <DEL>, the result is the same, JR>>> my system locks up for a few seconds. Did you try rebooting the computer? Also, check your hard disk space in that partition. If you're low, that could do it. If that's the case, kill all dupes and compress all folders and if needed, free up disk space by eliminating or moving something else. On this new machine I have TB! ALONE in a 3 gb partition, which should last me a while - but before that the kind of problems you describe occurred from lack of disk space.
