Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at 6:31 PM (Pacific ST) GMT -0800 Greetings TheBat! Users,
Is it true that version 2.x of TheBat will have all files needed in the main directory? In other words, no need for a registry file? If this is the case it would be possible to install and run TheBat from a removable drive such as a USB key drive. Think of it... your email program and all messages in your pocket. Just plug it in at a friends house, at work or at home. Any computer with a USB port which is most of them less than three to five years old. It would be great security too since TheBat would not even reside on your computer. Take a look at http://www.usbkeydrive.com and tell me if this would be possible and how practical it would be. I think of this because of the new PocoMail Portable Edition. I hope it will work with v2 of TheBat. -- Wayne Black [EMAIL PROTECTED] Using TheBat! 1.61 With Windows 98se 4.10 2222 ________________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
