Hello Joyce,
Simply click on "cancel" when TB is starting up and nags you about
being expired. TB will not shut down if the mail has begun to
download and will remain open afterward. It would be annoying to
deal with permanently, but for the short time until the cd arrives
it will get you through. Be sure to give it a second to let the
mail begin downloading before doing that, though, and if it shuts
down then that means you only had a couple of emails and it
downloaded them before you clicked Cancel and you'll have to wait
until some more mail builds up.
