Could be. You're more likely to fall into a conflict with another
application which is wishes to use that port number.

Upon doing some looking around, it would seem that it's the port
used for the MPM-Flags Protocol. I'd therefore change to another
port. To see a list of which ports are already assigned/registered
for standard protocols, see
http://www.stamey.nu/tcpipinformation.asp

Avoid using them. Most of them are below number 1024.
