There was a recursive macro written by somebody either on here, or on TBTECH
that can sort it out during replying, but there isn't anything I think you can
do during viewing fo the mail unless they stop sending mail as HTML, and set a
line break of the specified length.

Try http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/Library.html for the recursive macro.  I
am having trouble connecting to it at the moment (Marck?) but that could just be
me.  As for the line lengths, just keep bugging them to change it, or be a real
pain so they know what their mail looks like, and unwrap your lines ;) (write
your email, then start going back, and deleting the CRs) ;)  Some would probably
start getting really annoyed with that... but that is me, I can be a real pain
sometimes hehehehe
