I found out that it really makes sense to tell people of the difficulties. Usually they try to change the settings - or let me do it for them. The point is to do it without sounding unreasonable or missionary. If the settings are easily done and then forgotten they'll do it themselves. If it's Lotus Notes, to my experience even computer hardened folks like you or me give up. Whatever they did with this "It's not an e-mail" programme beats me.
