My biggest pet peeve with the Bat and it drives me crazy.... (I know this has been brought up before)... I start an e-mail and begin thinking about who I want to send the e-mail to and can quickly add people by starting there name and then pressing ctrl-+ to auto-complete the name. The problem is this only works for about 3 addresses then I can't see how the auto-complete is working! I can press "end" to see what was last entered to go to the end of the line but then lose the ability to use the autocomplete/ctrl-+ combo until I start a new address (and often have to go back and delete the one I have). It's just a real mess and end up having to use the little address book, which is WAY slower when you have a huge list of addresses and all I need to do is send an e-mail out to five or six people. I haven't subscribed to the beta list but if someone has better connections with some of the developers at ritlabs please let them know that I really hope this addressed in a future release.
Ideally I would like to see the addresses as they are added drop to a new line so that you can see which ones at a glance that you've already added (without having to use the address book display menu). This could be accomplished by just having the addresses start on new line. If that can't be done at least when no addresses are added the focus is brought to the end of the current line so that you can see what you are trying to auto-complete. The Bat is the best, but every day this becomes a real nuisance several times while at work. Am I the only one frustrated by this? Maybe others quickly send out e-mails in a better fashion? To me it's just so easy to start typing the address and then have them auto-complete and use ctrl-+ when you have several options. I'd love if this procedure was made more convenient for adding more than three or four people to an address field line. -- Rick mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
