The point was *not* about TB! being easier than Notes but TB! being as
easy that a computer illiterate could get started in no time at all.

This is - as I conveyed before - my experience too. And perhaps one
day someone can tell me why a lot of people think that just because a
programme is very capable it couldn't be used without hassle by a
newbie. If you don't need a certain feature you won't look or ask for
it - simple.
