Hi, List, Has anyone had this experience:
I was typing along, needed a capital "Q" and got only a blank space. Got a blank space also when I needed a lower-case q. A bit later, got a strange character that looked like half a per-cent mark when I tried for a lower-case "k" . Re-phrased my wording and finished writing my mail to avoid "q" and "k." Sent the mail. Hung up the modem. (I use dial-up.) Got a screen, white with a black line bordering it that said "An error has occurred in your program." It gave me the option to continue working in the program or to shut it down. I chose to shut it down. Then I shut down Windows and re-booted the computer. Re-launched TB, and as you can see, I now have perfectly good Q, q, and k. Do you think this is The Bat! or my system acting up? One new thing I did today: I uninstalled AVG and deleted its plug-in. Then I installed Kaspersky Personal Pro and enabled its plug-in. Could The Bat! be choking on the Kaspersky plug-in? (I bought the right to re-download, so I could re-install, if that seems to be it.) Cogitate on this a bit, dear mentors, and let me know what you think? Advice much appreciated. I'm running TB v. 1.61 on Windows 95B. -- Mary ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
