Hallo Ochrid,

That's a development that I don't like very much. The easy access
for news groups makes it easy for address harvesting tools to harvest
those addresses. And now you pointed us to this news server.
I subscribed to it and to my dismay I see my e-mail address posted in
a news group.
A quarter or more of the messages on this list are about spam
reduction and now somebody is courting it.
Apart from that fact, I don't use a news client and am not very
interested in purchasing one, just to be able to talk about my
favorite e-mail client.

But the worst thing of all is clearly that somebody thought it a good
idea to gate a mailing list to news without telling the list members
that he was compromising their e-mail address.
